Emery Özil Split Continues
By: eplinview Tuesday, 15 January 2019
You just simply cannot frustrate Özil to leave the club with Emery's deceptive techniques. The board has to talk and ask him what he needs to leave.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery indicated Mesut Ozil did not deserve a place in his squad after he missed a London derby loss to West Ham on Saturday.

It is no more a speculation that the relation between Emery and Özil is not on good terms. The German playmaker faces dilemma under Unai Emery.
Özil absence against the Hammers is indeed a message to the board by the manager that he does not rate Özil to be an integral part of his plans.
The German is the highest paid player at Arsenal with £350,000 per week. Freeing up his wages can allow Emery to bring in players in the January transfer window.
Özil is a leftover of the Wenger Era. - Craig Burley
Arsenal has brought Unai Emery in and they have to back thier new manager. If Özil does not fit in his style of play, the board has to back Emery and sweep Özil out and start all over again. No matter how good Özil was or has been for Arsenal but Emery does not want him.
Özil is under no pressure to leave because of that 5 years contract he signed - Shaka Hislop
Emery can not frustrate Özil to leave the club by dropping him out of the team. The split disturbs the dressing room. The board should bring Özil on the table and talk to him. They should give what Özil needs to leave the club and say Goodbye.
Granit Xhaka is not even close to the quality of Özil - Steve Nicol
Özil brings quality to the team. The midfield looks flat without him. The defeat at West Ham saw lack of creativity from Arsenal. They failed to bring thier strikers into play. Arsenal managed only 2 shots on target in 90 minutes against the Hammers with the likes of Lacazette and Aubameyang on the pitch for the entire game.
The rift between Özil and Emery seems unlikely to get settled in coming weeks. No big club is interested to sign Özil at the moment.
It is also unlikely that any club would offer him £350,000 per week. He has become a luxury player at Arsenal and does not seem in a hurry to leave London.
